The Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) is one of the key industries identified for the energy sector review. As part of the review, this seminar aims to explore the key themes, debates and issues impacting and influencing regulation in the ESI and the consequences for economic development. TIPS will present its approach to the electricity sector review and preliminary findings. Dr Grové Steyn will comment on the work undertaken by TIPS and share valuable insights previously presented at the 2012 NERSA South African Economic Regulators conference, with particular emphasis on electricity related issues.
