Privacy and Ethics Statement for the digitalisation survey

Respondents of this survey are reminded that participation in the survey is voluntary and that you are not obligated to participate in this study.

You may choose to withdraw from the survey at any stage without consequence, or to refrain from answering questions you do not wish to answer. However, your response is valuable and we believe that contributing your knowledge and experience to policy development will ultimately also benefit your company.

Your responses to the survey will be treated as anonymous and results will be analysed and reported in a manner that ensures that your identity and/or that of your company is not disclosed.

All information will be treated confidentially and concealed by aggregating with other data from multiple respondents to the survey.

This project has been granted ethical clearance at University of Johannesburg and you are reminded of your right to privacy, confidentiality, anonymity, equality, justice, human dignity, freedom of choice, freedom of expression, and access to information and to the science community.
